I have just finished the recording and mastering of a new CD of Nocturnes by Ukraine-French composer Georges Rubissow. These deeply beautiful pieces were given to me by his son, George. Taking from Ukraine and Russian folk music, Romantic and 20th century language, with his unique dramatic style, they reflect both times past and present.
Look for this release on ITunes, CdBaby and my website, and for upcoming concerts featuring these works.
This will be the fourth in a series of Nocturnes- the next one has some very exciting composers included. I am just gathering the scores and beginning to learn the new pieces.
Also, November 13th, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., I will be joining the cast of Cabaret Comico in a night of comedic song with a stellar cast of performers. We will be featuring original music by myself and the Wild Women of San Fransisco in our new show The Best Bad Things.
