Music is Alive! Concerts are on again, musicians are beginning to thrive again, and people continue to be connected through live performance!
It’s been a while since I’ve shared my musical activities here, mostly due to the pandemic times. There’s a lot to tell, and much to be grateful for despite the challenges of these past two years. I’ve played concerts, made some recordings, played many shows outdoors, wrote some new songs, and dreamed a lot of big projects that are now again possible. There was also time for walking, looking and listening to the quiet..
Performances in March and April:
Saturday, March 12: 12 – 4 pm “Slava Ukraine”, a fundraiser for Ukraine citizens, at the Golden Gate Park Music Concourse.
I will be playing a set of solo piano pieces at 1 pm by composers Chopin, Ravel, Bartok, as well as Nocturnes by Ukraine composer Georges Rubissow and myself. An all-star cast of musicians and poets will be performing in this fundraiser for the World Kitchen. https://secretsanfrancisco.com/bandshell-ukraine-relief-concert/
