Hello Friends,
I’m just returning to my website and blog here because my other one disappeared. Check out my page of COMPOSITIONS for recent additions. I’ve been playing and writing over these years, happy to be making music. Our world need this now, more than ever!
Here are some of my current projects: (there are too many performances to list right now, but I will update soon)
NEW NOCTURNES II:

Music of Clara Schumann, Gustav Holst, Villa-Lobos, Fred Hersch, Theodore Wiprud and myself, with Persian melodies and Commissions by Benjamin Gribble and Alon Nechustan.
Here is a link to the New Nocturnes I released in 2014:
and more information about the Nocturnes Project on my Music page here on this site: The Nocturnes Project
ALSO, I wanted to let you know about the huge project I that composed, which was premiered in 2014 at the Palace of Fine Arts with support of an SF Arts Commission Individual Artis Grant:
“Elijah’s Call: An Oratorio for an Abolitionist”. Music by Allison Lovejoy, Libretto by Gary Kamiya.
Here is a KQED article about the piece and its inspiration and development.
